Doncaster, Kelso and Newbury: Connaught Gold Cup
Today there is racing at Kelso, a racecourse reputed to be one of the prettiest in the country, but which I have never visited. I shall put that right one day.
Today's selections:
Doncaster 225: Star Beat
Newbury 240: Royal Auclair
Newbury 315: Natal
Doncaster 330: Cloudy Lane
Kelso 415: Ignotus

Four winners (7/2, 3/1, 100/30, 100/30) and a third from five selections - *excellent* tipping. You're hitting top form with Cheltenham just around the corner, Tom - will you mark my card please, please?

I certainly shall, GeeDee. But I'm still baffled by most of the races at Cheltenham. It was easier when the festival only lasted three days
