    Disappointing effort from Salford Mill, Tom. I quietly fancied him here but he finished seventh of the nine runners.

    Yes, I'm not doing well, PG. Let's see if Dettori can salvage something for me in the next; Emirates Sykline (how did they get away with that as a name?) looked good at York last month.
    If it were not for Yeats yesterday, I would not have had a single RA winner.

    Maraahel won well on Saturday; thought Richard Hills rode a fine race. He went off a bigger price than I expected. Sporting Life site reports some lumpy bets on Scorpion including one of £50,000 at even money.
