A defining moment indeed. And interesting choice of book. The title poem was one I remember Hugo workshopping in the now-extinct "Lamb" group about four years ago. Good poem. I must buy my own first 13-digit ISBN book and read the rest!

Dear Room is excellent: I seem to remember Please come late from somewhere else, though can't think where, LRB perhaps?
Now Faber will have to revise the Collected Poems :-)
